Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting day-to-day sales operations by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with Regional Sales Management and Customer Service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. This role also includes proactive new customer development through cold calling, prospecting, and outbound outreach to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base. The position serves as a key link between customers, field sales representatives, and internal departments, helping execute sales strategies and maintain high service standards. It requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to drive sales growth while ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and alignment with company policies and operational capabilities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer & Sales Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, quote opportunities, and technical product information.
  • Prepare and manage quotes, proposals, and order documentation in support of Regional Sales management and customer requests.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers to ensure high levels of responsiveness and service and strong customer relationships

Quotation Management & Opportunity Development
  • Prepare and manage quotations for both stock and project-based opportunities, ensuring accuracy in product specifications, pricing, and delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Logistics teams to confirm feasibility, lead times, and alignment with operational capabilities.
  • Proactively follow up on quotes and actively chase opportunities to secure orders, working closely with Regional Sales Management and customers to close business and drive territory growth.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding quote details, revisions, and potential challenges to ensure timely responses and maximize conversion of opportunities into orders.

Sales Process Execution & Support
  • Support the execution of sales strategies by identifying opportunities for additional products, cross-selling, and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems to track sales activity such as leads, deals, quotes and customer communication details.
  • Assist Regional Sales Management by providing timely information, documentation, and follow-up support.

Quality, Documentation & Compliance
  • Work closely with Customer Service, the Quotations Team, Regional Sales Management, and the Factory team to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated, orders are executed accurately, and overall customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Ensure all customer interactions, quotations, and orders comply with company policies, pricing guidelines, and documentation standards.
  • Identify, document, and help resolve customer issues or service concerns in accordance with company procedures while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Support the continuous improvement of internal sales, quoting, and order management processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the overall customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support within a B2B environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and effectively engage customers.
  • Demonstrated selling ability with a strong track record of converting opportunities and closing a high percentage of quotes into orders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP Systems. Zoho and Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-first service orientation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Quotations, Factory teams, and Regional Sales Management to support field sales initiatives and customer success.
