Position Overview

Rich Global is an entrepreneurial investment and operating platform focused on building, acquiring, operating, and growing businesses across multiple industries.

Rich Global is seeking a highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven Inside Sales & Business Development Representative to drive outbound lead generation, cold calling, prospecting, and business development across its portfolio of affiliated companies, which currently operate in the following industries:

  • Real estate development and investment
  • Facilities maintenance and national service programs
  • Commercial construction and project services
  • Industrial distribution and supply chain operations
  • Specialty service businesses

This position may also pursue opportunities for new businesses and organizations that become affiliated with Rich Global as the company’s portfolio continues to grow.

This is a high-volume outbound sales and prospecting role requiring consistent daily cold calling, email outreach, social prospecting, research, qualification, and follow-up. The successful candidate must be comfortable initiating conversations with unfamiliar contacts, navigating rejection, maintaining a strong activity pace, and converting outreach into qualified business and property acquisition opportunities.

This individual will identify and qualify prospective customers, pursue potential property acquisitions, develop business relationships, and execute consistent follow-up throughout the sales process. The position requires a confident and persuasive communicator who can manage a substantial volume of prospecting activity through HubSpot or another applicable tracking system.

The ideal candidate is proactive, persistent, competitive, technologically capable, and motivated by measurable results. This individual must quickly learn each affiliate’s business model, target market, customers, products, services, and growth objectives and adapt the prospecting strategy accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

High-Volume Outbound Prospecting

  • Execute a high volume of daily outbound cold calls, emails, social outreach, and other prospecting activities.
  • Build targeted prospect lists and pursue decision-makers across multiple industries, territories, and business initiatives.
  • Initiate conversations with unfamiliar contacts and clearly communicate the value proposition of the applicable Rich Global affiliate.
  • Maintain a disciplined prospecting schedule and consistently pursue qualified opportunities through multiple contact attempts.
  • Overcome initial resistance, respond to objections, and create interest among prospective customers, property owners, brokers, and business contacts.
  • Convert outbound activity into qualified conversations, meetings, proposals, and revenue-producing opportunities.

Property Acquisition Prospecting

  • Conduct outbound calls to property owners, brokers, investors, developers, and other prospective acquisition sources.
  • Research and identify properties that may align with Rich Global’s acquisition and development objectives.
  • Gather preliminary information regarding ownership, property condition, asking price, occupancy, and motivation to sell.
  • Qualify property acquisition opportunities based on established investment criteria.
  • Present qualified opportunities and relevant information to executive leadership for further evaluation.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with property owners, brokers, and other acquisition sources.

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and pursue prospective customers for the products and services offered by Evo Distribution, Mercury Distribution, Path Solutions, Inc., Upline LLC, and other Rich Global affiliates.
  • Qualify leads by identifying customer needs, decision-makers, purchasing processes, project timelines, budgets, and potential opportunities.
  • Schedule qualified meetings, product discussions, demonstrations, and follow-up calls for company leadership and operational teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective customers, property owners, brokers, vendors, referral sources, and industry contacts.
  • Drive the development of new sales territories, customer segments, referral channels, and strategic partnerships.
  • Reengage inactive accounts and pursue additional opportunities within existing customer relationships.
  • Shift effectively among diverse industries, prospect types, products, services, and acquisition initiatives as organizational priorities evolve.
  • Execute timely and persistent follow-up to advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.

CRM and Pipeline Management

  • Accurately enter and maintain prospect, customer, property, and sales information in HubSpot or another applicable tracking system.
  • Document all calls, emails, meeting notes, follow-up activities, documents, and next steps.
  • Develop and maintain an organized, current, and actionable pipeline of sales and property acquisition opportunities.
  • Create follow-up tasks, establish clear next steps, and drive opportunities through the appropriate pipeline stages.
  • Monitor pipeline movement, identify stalled opportunities, and take action to reengage prospects or determine disposition.
  • Prepare regular reports regarding qualified opportunities, meetings scheduled, pipeline value, conversion rates, forecasted revenue, and business development results.
  • Ensure CRM data is complete, accurate, and consistently maintained across company systems.

Trade Shows and Industry Events

  • Represent Rich Global and its affiliated companies at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and other industry functions.
  • Develop targeted prospect lists and pursue qualified meetings before, during, and after events.
  • Coordinate event preparation, marketing materials, meeting schedules, and post-event outreach.
  • Execute timely follow-up to convert event contacts into qualified opportunities and active pipeline.
  • Travel periodically based on business, trade shows, and event requirements.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in inside sales, business development, lead generation, telemarketing, real estate prospecting, or a related role preferred.
  • Demonstrated comfort and confidence conducting high-volume cold calls and initiating conversations with unfamiliar contacts.
  • Experience meeting prospecting, pipeline, conversion, or revenue goals is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, persuasive, and confident telephone presence.
  • Excellent organization, time-management, and follow-through capabilities.
  • Ability to research companies, decision-makers, property owners, and market opportunities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple sales initiatives and business priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar industries quickly and adjust messaging for different business models, markets, and decision-makers.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and virtual meeting technology.

  • Strong technology and data-management skills
  • Resilient and able to maintain consistent prospecting activity
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented
  • Intellectually curious and versatile across diverse industries

Measures of Success

Success in this role will be evaluated primarily based on the quality and business value of the opportunities created, including:

  • Number and quality of qualified sales opportunities generated
  • Number and quality of qualified property acquisition opportunities identified
  • Growth and value of the active sales and acquisition pipeline
  • Conversion of outbound prospecting into qualified meetings and opportunities
  • Conversion of qualified opportunities into proposals, customers, transactions, and revenue
  • Revenue and gross-profit contribution attributable to business development efforts
  • Progression of qualified opportunities through established pipeline stages
  • Conversion of trade shows and industry-event contacts into active opportunities
  • Consistency, quality, and timeliness of prospect follow-up
  • Accuracy and completeness of CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline reporting

Outbound activity will be monitored as an important leading indicator; however, success will be measured by the candidate’s ability to convert that activity into qualified opportunities, meaningful pipeline growth, closed business, and revenue.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary: $40,000
  • Commission opportunity: Meaningful performance-based commission opportunity tied to established sales, business development, conversion, and revenue objectives. The applicable commission structure will be provided separately.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • Health Savings Account eligibility.
