We are looking for a highly motivated Outside Sales Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate and qualify leads for our Point of Sale (POS) hardware and software solutions. The BDR will focus on outbound prospecting and appointment setting, working closely with Account Executives to drive new merchant acquisition.

Outside Sales Business Development Representative Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential SMB clients (retailers, restaurants, convenience stores, etc.)
  • Make in-person outreach to generate interest
  • Qualify leads based on business needs, budget, and readiness
  • Schedule product demos and sales meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate lead and activity records in CRM
  • Follow up with prospects consistently to move them through the pipeline
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly activity and appointment-setting targets
  • Research local markets and identify high-potential merchant segments
  • Support sales campaigns, promotions, and events
