Role Description The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, primarily through inside sales and lead generation activities. This hybrid role is based in St Augustine, FL, with a mix of on-site client and team interactions and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target markets, engaging prospects via phone, email, and virtual meetings, and nurturing relationships to move opportunities through the sales pipeline. The role also involves collaborating with the sales and technical teams to understand client needs, prepare proposals, and support presentations. The Business Development Representative tracks activity in the CRM, reports on key metrics, and contributes to continuous improvement of outreach strategies.


Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience identifying and qualifying prospective clients.
  • Demonstrated Sales and Business Development abilities, including managing a pipeline and meeting growth targets.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
  • Familiarity with IT services, cloud solutions, or cybersecurity offerings is highly beneficial but not needed
  • Proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
