Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting customer relationships, generating sales, and ensuring a high level of service within the branch. This role works closely with contractors, electricians, and internal teams to provide product solutions, process orders, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Process sales orders, quotes, and returns accurately and efficiently
  • Provide product recommendations and technical support on electrical supplies
  • Proactively follow up on quotes to convert opportunities into sales
  • Collaborate with outside sales and warehouse teams to meet customer needs
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Support branch operations and contribute to overall sales targets

Qualifications

  • Previous sales or customer service experience (electrical or wholesale industry preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of electrical products (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with computers and order entry systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus)
