Job Summary:
Delta Faucet Company is committed to transforming everyday experiences with water through innovative products and exceptional service. The Sr. Director, Innovation Lab will lead the development and execution of the company’s innovation strategy, focusing on driving growth through insights-driven product and channel solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Define and manage the innovation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategies and key stakeholder needs. This includes defining and driving the innovation vision for the organization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Channel, R&D) to prioritize initiatives that deliver consumer value and growth.
• Work with DFC’s insights team to identify and prioritize emerging consumer behaviors, lifestyle trends, and unmet needs.
• Translate insights into actionable innovation strategies.
• Inspire and lead a team focused on ideation, concept development, and delivering an outline for commercial success to internal stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of creativity, agility, and consumer-centric thinking across the organization.
• Be a catalyst for change within both DFC and Masco, pushing the organization to place the right bets on future opportunities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and deep understanding of consumer needs and trends.
• Deep subject matter authority and bias for commercialization; including POC, MVP, small batch product and/or services launches.
• Proficient problem solver with an innate ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Able to lead multiple complex projects at one time and prioritize work and resources according to potential impact.
• Demonstrated ability of leading and inspiring small, cross-functional teams of individuals with diverse expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to cast a vision that inspires, motivates, and propels a team to action.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for consumer-driven innovation.
• Skilled in white space identification, trend forecasting, and portfolio planning.
• Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability.
