Seco Tools, a Sandvik company, is a global leader in metal cutting and manufacturing solutions. We partner with customers to improve productivity, drive sustainability, and unlock new possibilities through advanced tooling, digital capabilities, and deep application expertise.
At Seco, you'll find more than a role-you'll find a collaborative, global community that values curiosity, inclusion, and continuous growth. We believe diverse perspectives strengthen our business and create better outcomes for our customers.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Regional Innovation Hub Manager - Americas to lead the development and execution of our Innovation Hub strategy across the region.
This is a high-impact, build-and-scale leadership role focused on transforming how Seco delivers end-to-end manufacturing solutions in the Americas. You will play a critical role in accelerating growth, strengthening customer engagement, and enabling a scalable, digital-first way of working aligned with our 2030 strategic ambitions.
Operating in a highly matrixed environment, you will connect sales, business development, engineering, and innovation teams-turning complex customer challenges into integrated, high-value solutions.
What You Will Do
This role combines strategy, execution, and leadership-requiring both a big-picture mindset and the ability to deliver tangible results.
  • Shape and execute strategy
Lead the regional Innovation Hub strategy, translating global direction into a scalable operating model that drives end-to-end, solution-based engagement.
  • Build and lead capability
Coordinate Innovation Hub and project engineering activities, establishing effective delivery models and laying the foundation for future team and capability growth.
  • Drive growth and market impact
Identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen presence in key growth segments, and deliver measurable impact across revenue, pipeline, and customer adoption.
  • Enable collaboration and partnerships
Build strong internal and external partnerships-including customers and technology partners-and drive alignment across Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and Offer & Innovation.
  • Scale ways of working
Optimize resource utilization across regional and global teams while driving consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement in delivery.
  • Lead through influence
Operate effectively in a matrixed environment, aligning diverse stakeholders and driving cross-functional execution without relying solely on direct authority.

What You Bring
You combine technical and commercial expertise with strong leadership capability and a passion for driving change.
  • Experience
    • 7+ years within metal cutting, manufacturing, or industrial solutions
    • Proven success in solution-based / consultative selling environments
    • Strong understanding of machining processes and customer manufacturing needs
  • Leadership & Impact
    • Demonstrated leadership experience, including direct leadership and leading through influence
    • Ability to operate and deliver in complex, matrixed organizations
    • Track record of translating strategy into execution and delivering measurable results
  • Professional Strengths
    • Strong business acumen and customer focus
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to build partnerships and drive alignment across functions
  • Education (preferred)
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
  • Mobility
    • Willingness to travel regionally (~30-50%)

Location & Work Model
  • Based near the future Innovation Hub facility in the Charlotte, NC region
  • High on-site presence expected once operational
  • Regional and some global travel required

Why This Role Matters
This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a critical capability in the Americas at a time of transformation.
In this role, you will:
  • Directly contribute to Seco's 2030 growth and innovation strategy
  • Help shape how we deliver end-to-end manufacturing solutions to customers
  • Work across a global network with strong visibility to senior leadership
  • Be part of a shift toward more collaborative, digital, and innovation-driven ways of working

What We Offer
We invest in our people and support both professional and personal wellbeing.
  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives
  • 401(k) with up to 8% company match
  • Generous PTO and 11 paid holidays
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Company car, laptop, phone, and tools to succeed
  • Tuition reimbursement and paid volunteer time
