Job Description

Seeking an Innovation Consultant with professional experience providing consulting assistance to Military Research, Development, and Engineering.  Innovation management experience required to facilitate a benchmarking study on innovation.  Innovation Consultant will be expected to:
Scope Of Work:
1. Conduct meetings, both on-site and over conferencing technologies,

2. Coordinate and facilitate a working group for Innovation Management, 
3. Be able to engage with and solicit information from top organizations, including Fortune 500 firms
4. Study and compile questionaires and surveys

5. Develop, assess, and share Best Practice models, methods, and frameworks
6. Must create analysis and reports from the results of this study

Work will be performed at both Client sites in New Jersey as well as on consultant's own site of work.

Qualifications

Required:

i. 5+ years of experience in consulting and project management
ii. 2+ years of experience in Innovation consulting/management
iii. Must be able to work independently
iv. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment
v. Must be excellent communicator, both written and oral

Preferred:

i. Candidates with previous military experience, especially in military research and development

ii. Candidates with security clearance

Other Skills:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Relationship management skills (influence, negotiation, consulting, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong Leadership & Project Management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basis
- Ability to negotiate priorities and resolve conflict.
