As a Jr. Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring 100% uptime of our data center operations, supporting mission-critical infrastructure for both the company and our customers. This position reports on-site and works closely with senior engineering staff and site operations teams to maintain, support, and optimize all technical aspects of facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and review maintenance methods, standards, and operating procedures for all facility equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to plan and execute customer solutions, including space, power, and cooling requirements.
  • Support the daily operations of critical infrastructure systems-including power, HVAC, and life safety equipment-ensuring optimal performance and rapid incident response.
  • Assist in generating and maintaining up-to-date facility and compliance reports.
  • Provide technical support during customer installations and integrations, ensuring successful project completion.
  • Address operational issues promptly to uphold our commitment to 100% uptime.
  • Liaise effectively with operations management, vendors, and stakeholders to implement and track solutions.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in facility operations within data centers, telecommunications, or similar mission-critical environments.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management and ticketing software platforms.
  • Capable of working in high-pressure, high-availability (24/7/365) environments, including vendor coordination and emergency response.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Foundational knowledge of mission-critical facility systems, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), generators, mechanical, and fire safety systems.
  • Understanding of building automation systems, energy management, and control systems for mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills; ability to meet shifting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
