The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is seeking dedicated candidates to fill important roles within our department. We are one of the largest departments in Maryland with nearly 12,000 employees and a budget of more than $1 billion. POSITION DUTIES 1. Enterprise Data Center Operations & Infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience designing, operating, and modernizing enterprise data center infrastructure supporting mission-critical environments with high availability (99.9%+ uptime).
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including:
    • Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms
    • Cisco ISR/ASR routing
    • Cisco DNA Center
    • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
    • Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
    • VLANs, VRFs, QoS, STP, HSRP, EtherChannel
  • Experience implementing and supporting Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN), MPLS, VPRN, and hybrid WAN architectures.
  • Experience administering enterprise storage infrastructure including:
    • Storage Area Networks (SAN)
    • Fibre Channel
    • iSCSI
    • Enterprise storage platforms (Dell EMC, NetApp, IBM Storage, Pure Storage)
