TITLE: IT Support - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud and on-prem based architectures for new and existing systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design solutions for resilience, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Drive innovation and implement best practices. Triage and resolve client requests and incidents. Analyze and resolve internal alerts coming from various monitoring tools. Analyze application code and participate in root cause analysis. Participate in on-call rotation. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving software development and support experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years of Java development; 3 years working with Splunk and Dynatrace; 3 years working with Webservices including SOAP and REST; 2 years working with MoogSoft aggregator tool integrating various alerts coming from different sources; 2 years working with Linux and Unix Shell script; 2 years working with SiteScope; 2 years working with ASM or APM URL monitoring tools; 2 years of architecture and design with high volume and high availability real-world applications; 2 years supporting high volume and high availability real-world applications; and 1 year working with AWS.
