JOB SUMMARY: As an Abbey Resort associate, you will have the opportunity to be part of an incredible team at a full service resort situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one-year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Technical degree or certificate preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Installs, tests, and services a variety of computer software, hardware, data network and telecommunications devices, as well as other peripheral equipment related to information technology.
  • Assess and correct problems with computers, point of sales system, peripherals, and communication hardware.
  • Ability to diagnose problems, logically come to solutions, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Apply software patches and perform hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs to ensure all systems are up-to-date
  • Monitor and maintains desktop systems, printers, credit card readers and other peripheral equipment
  • Provide help desk support and technical assistance to system users
  • Gather and maintain inventory of IT equipment
  • Record computer processes, procedures, and hardware and software information
  • Install and update existing/new software as required
  • Research and analyze new technology, techniques, threats and industry best practices to optimize efficiency and useability to minimize vulnerabilities
  • Working knowledge of all different Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Basic network support skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to be self-motivated and responsible
