Job Summary:
Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a mid-level Data and Platform Engineer to advance BDS Digital Launchpad, an integrated reporting and analytics ecosystem. The role involves implementing and maintaining data integrations, assisting with DevOps workflows, and collaborating with various teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with the senior solutions architect and data integration analysts to gather, analyze, and document data integration requirements from source systems to analytic platforms
• Support senior solutions architect in maintaining the DLP reference architecture across environments
• Build, maintain, and validate end‐to‐end data connections between source systems and the BDS Data Lakehouse
• Coordinate cross‐team activities and dependencies (data SMEs, developers, IT, security, source system owners) to ensure secure, and compliant implementations
• Help maintain Foundry role-based access and marketplace installation/role assignments within Foundry projects
• Collaborate with data SMEs and software developers to define and validate data requirements
• Support Foundry platform operations to ensure reliability and stability
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10 years data engineering and platform engineering experience
• 5 years’ DevOps experience
• 2 years’ experience with solution architecture
• 5 years’ experience with Python scripting
• 5 years’ experience with data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and data quality practices
• 5 years’ experience with troubleshooting operational issues in production environments
• Experience working with stakeholder management and requirements definition
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Preferred:
• Experience with Palantir Foundry
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with Defense/Aviation industry
