Job description

Summary
Under the general supervision of the director, the manager is responsible for the daily management of the department. This includes, but is not limited to operational, financial, clinical, performance improvement, program development, and customer relations and patient care outcomes. The manager is the primary resource person for staff. Responsibilities also include collaboration with other departments of the Hospital to assure development, promotion and maintenance of quality programs and services.
Education
Four years of formal training or education in specialty or related specialty beyond the high school level (e.g., Bachelor's Degree).
Experience
  • No less than 5 years of progressive supervisory or management experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with ERP systems and enterprise business processes, including demonstrated experience with Workday.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Supply Chain, Payroll, Finance, and Human Resources stakeholders, with a strong understanding of their respective business processes, workflows, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Workday to support business processes, workflow management, reporting, data analysis, and operational decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team while also working collaboratively as a team member.
  • Strong understanding of operational, administrative, and performance improvement processes, with the ability to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology, systems, and data to support decision-making, improve departmental operations, and achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Recruits, retains and develops staff and manages performance.
  • Participates in establishing and monitoring annual department productivity, quality, fiscal goals, and staffing.
  • Manages departmental core processes.
  • Responsible for customer relations and customer service initiatives.
  • Acts as a conduit for department and organizational communication among staff and others.
  • Leads department and interdepartmental teams.
  • Meet all departmental, professional and technical requirements.
  • Serves as a liaison to assigned vendors.
  • Endorses, supports, and champions the outcomes of ITS process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with State, Local, Federal regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in and supports departmental and organizational change.
  • Takes responsibility for individual performance goals.
  • Participates in IT Administrative on call rotation.
