We are excited to add a Commerical Operations Analyst to our team! The position will pay between $60,000 - $100,000 based on previous relevant experience, educational credentials, and location.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The responsibility of a Sales Operations Analyst is to analyze and interpret data received from internal and external sources in support of field sales implementation and interdepartmental initiatives of corporate strategy. This position will act as a key business partner and resource to the Commercial Leadership Team for communications and reporting. The analyst will develop forecasts, complete opportunity analysis, ad hoc reports and other key deliverables as assigned to enhance the understanding of the business and support decision making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop Business Reviews and consult to Commercial Leadership Team
  • Develop implementation plans and structure presentations for dissemination
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders/departments to develop timeline and communication cadence to the field
  • Develop field level communications for distribution via platforms
  • Develop opportunity analysis around key performance indicators
  • Develop resource allocation analysis and territory efficiency reports to provide decision support to Commercial Leadership Team
  • Develop incentive programs, track performance, report, provide final summaries and administration of rewards and recognition
  • Support the field leadership in the development of forecast and goal reports
  • Create and maintain sales leadership dashboards and deliverables in conjunction with field sales to ensure achievement of assigned goals, initiatives and priorities
  • Work across departments to access and provide data and identify reporting that should enter production via Informatics for sustained delivery
  • Liaison to informatics for requirements and edits to reports for the commercial team
  • Ad hoc requests, reports and special projects as assigned Secondary Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity
  • Collect sales records & trends and evaluate performance measured against sales targets
  • Analyze sales and performance records, interpret results of overall sales
  • Create weekly and monthly strategic views for management
  • Assist management in forecast and projections
  • Communicate sales reporting and sales forecasting to Senior Management
  • Collaborate with management team to create reports and track progress
  • Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions and initiatives
  • Conduct quantitative analysis including but not limited to ROI, trending, identification, and assessment of opportunity and risk
  • Pull reports and data for analysis from a variety of sources (e.g., Data warehouse, Salesforce.com, QAD, etc.)
  • Subject matter expertise and process owners as assigned to specific areas including communication, territory design, forecasting, finance, incentives and awards and other duties as required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years working experience in a sales operations support/analyst role or similar.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and Power Point Skills, Salesforce, MicroStrategies, MS Project
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Prioritization skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many moving pieces
