Dana-co has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Marketing Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.


The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing team across brand marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, content creation, public relations, and photoshoots. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is highly organized, digitally savvy, and excited to contribute across multiple brands and marketing initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of marketing initiatives across multiple brands and departments, including U.S. and international markets
  • Collaborate with external PR agency partners on product gifting, sample requests, event coordination, press opportunities, and ad hoc projects
  • Track press coverage, social media mentions, and brand features and assist in preparing monthly recaps and reports
  • Support paid influencer partnerships, including researching and sourcing potential partners, coordinating outreach, assisting with rate negotiations, and serving as a point of contact throughout campaign execution
  • Help ensure influencer content and deliverables align with brand direction, campaign objectives, and timelines
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of photoshoots, including model castings, studio outreach, scheduling, product and prop sourcing, and other production needs
  • Support day-to-day social media community management, including monitoring and responding to follower comments and messages
  • Track social media growth, engagement, and performance across platforms
  • Assist with planning and scheduling weekly social media content across brand channels
  • Conduct ongoing research into social media, fashion, cultural, competitive, and emerging digital trends
  • Utilize AI and generative AI tools to support research, brainstorming, content development, copy refinement, and other marketing workflows
  • Assist with light photo editing and asset preparation, including resizing, cropping, and making basic adjustments in Adobe Photoshop
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing team as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within the fashion, apparel, retail, beauty, or consumer brand space; intimate apparel experience is a plus
  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Strong writing, copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of AI prompting and generative AI tools, with an interest in using AI effectively to support marketing research, ideation, content development, and productivity
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop skills, including the ability to resize, crop, and make light edits to digital assets
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or other Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and project-management skills
  • Resourceful, proactive, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with social media planning and scheduling tools, such as Planoly, is a plus
  • Interest in fashion, social media, influencer marketing, and emerging digital and AI trends
