POSITION PURPOSE

Implements administer and support Republic Airways Holdings approved electronic, virtual synchronous, and non-synchronous training programs and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Serves as the designated Learning Management System Administrator for Inflight and Flight Training. Manages and supports the conduct of approved electronic, virtual synchronous, and in-person training and testing. Assists in the design, implementation, and evaluation of professional development training for Inflight and Flight Training Departments. Tests publishes and manages assigned content, such as online courses, tests, surveys, advocacy reports, and instructor-led training. Continuously improves and configures LMS Dashboards, settings, and reports. Designs, updates and delivers e-learning courses, workshops, and other training as needed in support of the Inflight and Flight Training departments. Provides technical expertise and training to Inflight and Flight Training Instructors and Staff. Works with appropriate departments to define performance problems, designs action plans, and implements solutions. Manages administrative duties of training program delivery including scheduling courses, managing rosters, creating meeting invitations, monitoring, and recording training compliances in Republic's LMS. Keeps abreast on LMS updates and changes, incorporating changes in Apple OS changes that affect the company's LMS and material Keeps informed of all operational and regulatory changes and requirements. Creates job-aids, training videos, and documentation on LMS processes. Manages multiple training development projects of high complexity. Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years relevant experience designing, implementing, and administrating a learning management system
  • Experience with SCORMs
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making, written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience using Articulate, Captivate, Storyline, or other courseware packaging programs
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and direct people.
  • Experience with Adult Training.
  • Extensive Microsoft 365 experience
  • Experience in Apple OS and devices (iPad/iPhone)
  • Strong computer and courseware development skills

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Instructional Design, Aviation Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with SumTotal Learning Management System
  • Experience with 14 CFR 121 Airline Training program operations
  • Experience in an Advanced Qualification Program

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common
scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common
inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or Senior Management.

REASONING/PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY
Possess strong analytical skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram
form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong evaluation and troubleshooting skills.
