Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our team at Infinity Care Plus Inc. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions and assessments. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account the unique needs of older adults.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and cognitive evaluations.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family therapy, tailored to serve clients facing geriatric psychiatric conditions.
  • Regularly collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and community resources to foster informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring proper documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients aged 65 and above, addressing various mental health issues prevalent in this population, including depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys while considering their emotional, cognitive, and physical health challenges.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Must possess active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a patient-centered and empathetic approach.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in a clinical or therapeutic setting that focuses on older adults.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices for individual and family therapy.
