Work Environment

This role is a full-time telehealth position, allowing you to work remotely from anywhere, while providing essential mental health services to patients in Riverside, California, and beyond. Our virtual work environment is designed for collaboration and communication, utilizing advanced telehealth technology to facilitate seamless interactions with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to older adults, identifying their unique needs and challenges.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that consider cognitive, emotional, and social factors that impact clients' mental health.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, specifically for geriatric psychiatric conditions.
• Collaborating with geriatric psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.
• Educating clients and their families on mental health conditions and providing valuable information about treatment options and community resources.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on older adults experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and dementia-related disorders. This specialized population requires a compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy, where you will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate their unique challenges and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following qualifications would enhance your candidacy:

• Strong background in geriatric mental health disorders and experience using evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Prior experience providing therapy to older adults and their family members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, emphasizing empathy and understanding in patient interactions.
• A proven ability to build rapport and trust with elderly patients and their caregivers.

Compensation and Benefits

Infinity Care Plus Inc offers an attractive compensation package that includes an annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000. In addition, the position comes with comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
