Material Handler/ Roll Hanging Essential duties: Follow the facility’s Safety Rules, Critical Safety Rules, Departmental Safety Rules and Safe Practices Perform Tasks Following SOPs Keeping “ME” Safe Must be the First Priority Must be Lock out Tag out Certified Communicate With Process Operator for Back-to-Back Roll Changes and Changeovers Maintain Good Housekeeping Throughout Shift Verify Correct Material on Your Lines at Shift Start Check for Changeovers and Communicate Roll Stock Needs 1 hour prior to LTO Verify Changeover Material is Correct Perform “Back-to-Back” Roll Changes Following Infeed SWIS Set up Roll Splicer if Applicable (Training provided) Maintain the Correct Number of Rolls Online and On the Unwind Stand – Especially When Going to Break Grind Roll Scrap following the roll scrap procedure Communicate Effectively with Team Members, Process Operator, LTO Assist in Break relief for other Infeed Operators Assist Process Operator as Needed Support the Team Be able to maintain up to 6 lines Be able to work under pressure with good time management Physical Requirements: Must be able to move rolls and risers continuously Must be able to constantly stand, walk, use hands and arms Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs Must frequently be able to bend at the waist/ hips Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Constantly required reaching away from the body and frequently reaching overhead Ability to keep up with a machine conveyor line Able to work in differing temperatures Background/Drug Test/Everify Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as required Steel Toed Shoes Required Resumes required for 1st and 3rd shift 7am-7pm $17.00/hr Covington, GA 3001 Please send resumes to Dlopez@elitestaffinginc.com and rpagan@elitesteffinginc.com and fwaseskuk@elitestaffinginc.com and zueysha@elitestaffinginc.com and amarquez@elitestaffinginc.com All employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
