Job description

Fort Wayne, IN is one of the Midwest's most active manufacturing markets — anchored by automotive supply chain, defense, and advanced industrial production — and AirTech LLC, a business unit within OTC Industrial Technologies' Air Supply segment, is looking for a driven Industrial Sales Representative to own it. You'll have an existing customer base, full territory autonomy, and everything you need to run your territory like a business. If you're driven, customer-focused, and ready to grow, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.

What's In It For You

  • Strong Six-Figure Earning Potential: Base salary plus an uncapped commission plan.
  • Uncapped Commissions: Your ambition drives your income — no ceiling on what you can earn
  • Vehicle Reimbursement Program: Stay focused on the territory, not the overhead
  • Streamlined CRM Tools: Spend more time selling and less time on admin
  • Strong Training & Support: Hands-on product and systems training to make you a trusted technical advisor
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision + 401(k) with 50% match up to 6%, unlimited PTO, tuition assistance, and clear corporate career advancement support

Who Thrives Here

  • The Territory Owner: You take an existing customer base and grow it — deepening relationships, protecting accounts, and constantly opening new doors.
  • The Self-Starter: You don't need a manager to tell you to pick up the phone. You set your own pace, hold yourself accountable, and bring urgency to every day.
  • The Trusted Advisor: Customers come back to you because you listen first, understand their operations, and recommend solutions that actually work.
  • The Team Player: You compete hard externally and collaborate fully internally — working productively with regional resources, vendors, and associates to deliver for your customers.

What You'll Do

  • Own your territory: Spend 80–90% of your time making sales calls; develop new buying accounts and build loyalty through 100% customer satisfaction from existing accounts; target competitive accounts to grow your customer base and penetrate the Fort Wayne metro territory
  • Drive results: Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals for all AT equipment offerings; budget and maintain market share targets in conjunction with regional objectives; deliver consistent results through mastering the COMMIT process and a clearly defined sales approach
  • Build solutions: Coordinate with regional resources to design and offer customer-centric system solutions across multiple product categories; master technical sales and territory management skills including product knowledge, system design, and proper prospecting and sales processes
  • Stay disciplined & accountable: Maintain disciplined daily and weekly activity goals per the Air Technologies standard; maintain an updated database; maintain excellent communications with all associates and customers; recognize potential problem areas and take corrective action

What You'll Need

  • Experience & Aptitude: Professional service sales background with a demonstrated record of success; experience in compressed air sales required; strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Sales Performance: Powerful sense of urgency and accountability; proficient and disciplined in productive time management; commitment to doing it right the first time
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent customer relationship-building skills; exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; strong team attitude with the ability to work productively with associates, customers, and vendors
  • Tools & Mobility: Intermediate proficiency with MS Office programs; valid driver's license
