Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Procedure Documentation - Assist in drafting, updating, and organizing equipment-specific procedures and technical instructions.
  • LOTO Procedure Improvement - Support the identification of energy sources, documentation of isolation steps, and preparation of visual aids for Lockout/Tagout protocols.
  • Technical Data Collection - Gather equipment information, verify procedural accuracy, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance personnel.
  • Safety and Compliance Support - Assist in ensuring procedures meet OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related technical program.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial systems.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and follow structured processes.
  • Familiarity of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 is preferred but not required.
