Job description

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Licensed Industrial Electrical Apprentice to join our team in our electrical division.
The Licensed Industrial Electrical Apprentice must complete the number of hours required for each year in the program (a minimum of 2,000 hours of "on-the-job" training for each year of his / her apprenticeship).
Major Duties:
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • The ability to climb ladders several times in a row.
  • The ability to work with hands above your head with tools.
  • The ability to lift tools and equipment above your head several times.
  • The ability to lift up to 100lbs.
  • The ability to stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a "Can-Do" positive attitude.
  • Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Be a self-starter and be dependable.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program.
  • Have an active state apprentice license.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
