Job description

Job Summary:
INDUS Technology, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned government services provider specializing in various domains including Engineering and Data Analytics. The Simulation Software Engineer will support the Weapons Analysis Facility by developing and testing simulation engines for undersea weapon systems, ensuring compliance with real-time system requirements.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develops, tests, and enhances simulation engines supporting WAF HWIL simulators.
โ€ข Integrates new or upgraded models into the WAF simulation framework.
โ€ข Supports feasibility studies to improve simulator performance and adapt to hardware specification changes.
โ€ข Implements simulation functionality including command and control messaging, signal processing algorithms, and diagnostic communications monitoring.
โ€ข Develops software supporting distributed and parallel processing environments to meet hard real-time timing constraints.
โ€ข Utilizes programming languages and tools including Java, C, C++, MATLAB, Simulink, and CUDA.
โ€ข Supports simulator execution on Concurrent Computing RedHawk OS systems and Dell systems running Red Hat or Windows.
โ€ข Produces technical documentation and deliverables in accordance with contract CDRLs.
โ€ข Bid and proposal support if requested.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.
โ€ข Three (3) years of experience develops, tests, and enhances simulation engines and incorporates new capabilities.
โ€ข Seven or more (7+) years of experience develops, tests, and enhances simulation engines for weapons systems or UUV simulation environments.
โ€ข Experience supports hardware-in-the-loop simulation systems.
โ€ข Familiarity supports hard real-time operating systems such as RedHawk Linux.
โ€ข Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
โ€ข Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
โ€ข Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Must possess strong time management skills.
โ€ข Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
โ€ข Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
