Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Hybrid)
Location: Fridley, MN 55432 - Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite; required onsite for training and first day)
Pay: $26.59/hr
Duration: Leave Coverage 6 months
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week; Monday โ€“ Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM; No Overtime)

Job Description
Kelly is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this hybrid role, youโ€™ll manage invoice processing, problem-solve payment issues, and support our month-end close process within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Top Qualifications
  1. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external customers.
  2. Accounts Payable Experience: Demonstrated experience in AP, including invoice resolution and vendor relations.
  3. Problem Solving: Adept at investigating and resolving complex payment and reconciliation scenarios.

Responsibilities
  • Clear Accounts Payable (AP) invoices from error corrections within the AP module in BOLT.
  • Engage with internal teams and suppliers to resolve AP invoice issues.
  • Address and resolve complex invoice payment issues, including special payment situations for clients.
  • Contact vendors to clarify open items and reconcile aged open receipts.
  • Provide administrative support for Ariba activities, specifically for indirect purchase orders and invoice reconciliation.
  • Compile, consolidate, and conduct basic analysis of accounting and finance information.
  • Support month-end close, including preparation of basic journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing tables, charts, and exhibits for reporting purposes.
  • Participate in less complex accounting projects or contribute as a team member on more complex initiatives.
  • Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests as necessary.
  • Perform duties under moderate supervision.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum: Associate's Degree or equivalent (5-7 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree, as per applicable regulations).
  • Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
