Job description


Onsite for the first 90 days, with potential for a hybrid schedule of 80% onsite and 20% remote thereafter| Monday-Friday| 8:00 AM - 4:30PM | Labor Day Required
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Market Research Analyst is responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based upon the research findings to identify changes and forecast trends in the field of marketing and communications.
Primary Tasks:
1. Devise, evaluate methods for collecting data, and implement research methods, such as surveys, questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, and opinion polls.
2. Gather data on market conditions, collaborate with teams inside and outside the organization to gather relevant qualitative and quantitative data.
3. Collect and convert complex data and findings into understandable actionable items, reports, and presentations.
4. Determine the most effective market research methods to track target audience demographic trends and market demands.
5. Conduct market research, analyze results using traditional and modern statistical techniques and software.
6. Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective consumer preferences.
7. Evaluate program methodology and key data; define and clarify research objectives to ensure methodology delivers desired results.
8. Analyze autonomously qualitative and quantitative data, trends, and strategies, especially marketing and communications industry trends.
9. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, statistics, math, market research, related field, or four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to understand large amounts of data and information
  • Ability to cope with fast-paced work, collaborate well with teams, and demanding deadlines
  • Strong communications, analytics, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong quantitative background in statistical and data analysis
  • Advanced computer skills including higher level functions in Microsoft Excel, such as Pivot Tables, as well as statistical software platforms
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and make recommendations based on statistical reports
  • Knowledge of human subject research, confidentiality, and ethical research practices
  • Two years' experience in similar role

Responsibilities
