Requirements:

Position Summary


Allegiance Medical Group is seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants, to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations and occupational health evaluations. Appointments generally last 30 to 90 minutes and consist of comprehensive medical histories, physical examinations, and accurate electronic documentation. Providers focus solely on performing objective medical evaluationsโ€”there are no prescribing responsibilities, treatment plans, or ongoing patient management.


Our experienced administrative team manages scheduling, contracting, and operational support, allowing you to focus on delivering quality patient evaluations rather than administrative tasks.


What You'll Do

  • Perform comprehensive medical examinations for Veterans and federal personnel
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical assessments
  • Complete objective, accurate documentation using our secure electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Submit high-quality reports within established timelines
  • Maintain compassionate, respectful, and professional interactions with every examinee
  • Adhere to federal guidelines and clinical protocols


Qualifications

Required

  • Current unrestricted state license as one of the following:
    • Physician Assistant (PA-C)
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Graduate of an accredited program
  • Current BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently and utilizing electronic medical records

Preferred

  • Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Primary Care
  • Previous experience performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) or occupational health examinations
  • Experience with electronic medical documentation
