Job description

We are ICS, Independent Contractor Services Inc., an independently owned and operated company dedicated to servicing live good products for Home Depot in 7 States and over 170 Stores. In partnership with over 30 nurseries, we act as their eyes and ears while merchandising their Tropical, Annual, Perennial, and Landscape products to maximum appeal to provide the consumer with the best and most informed shopping experience.

DESCRIPTION

ICS is hiring merchandisers now! We are looking for garden center merchandisers to work in single or multiple Home Depot locations. If you enjoy physical work, working with plants, being outdoors, and want to work for a growing company with great career opportunities, then join our team.

Full-time-seasonal and Part-time-seasonal opportunities are available for merchandiser positions. Hours will vary and work availability will be dependent upon business needs. Our highest volume seasons are March through early July, and mid-October through mid-December.

Our general laborers assist nursery personnel by:

  • Merchandising plants and seasonal products organized by category
  • Unloading, moving and consolidating plants
  • Setting retail displays and executing special projects and resets

The ideal candidate will have merchandising experience, horticulture knowledge or landscape experience; training is also available for those with a desire to learn more about the industry. Merchandisers must also have a positive and professional attitude, reliable transportation, a cell phone for work use, valid e-mail address, and be able to pass required background check.

  • The ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally during any shift
  • Walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling

PAY RATE

Depending on experience
