Job description

Job Summary:
Miller Brother Staffing is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team. As a Tree Service Worker, you will assist with tree trimming, removal, and related arborist activities. Would need to drive a Hydro seeding truck so a CDL or Heavy equipment operation exp is not required but preferred. This role requires safety awareness, physical stamina, and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates with a strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal using hand tools and power equipment.
  • Operate or assist with the operation of chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment.
  • Climb trees safely using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear, following all safety protocols.
  • Perform ground maintenance, including yard cleanup, brush chipping, and debris removal.
Follow safety guidelines and wear proper protective gear at all times.
Assist with rigging and lifting heavy limbs or equipment as needed.
Support team members in completing projects efficiently and safely.
Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Provide excellent customer service and professionalism on site.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in tree work, landscaping, or outdoor manual labor preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to tree work and equipment operation.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically strenuous tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced crew members.
  • Certifications such as OSHA, First Aid, or Tree Climbing/Chipping are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and limbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Good balance, strength, and endurance.
