Position Summary / Nature of Work

Works under general supervision of the Foreman to assure the proper, safe, efficient, and timely completion of landscape installation projects.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials
  • Excavation and hand trenching
  • Use of small power tools
  • Site Clean up
  • Pipe installation, preparation and gluing
  • Cement and concrete work and mixing
  • Use of small machinery

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years experience in residential or commercial landscape
  • At least 1 year of experience in landscape construction or related trade
  • Commercial irrigation experience required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to follow instruction
  • Ability to show up for work on time each day

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of power tools its care, proper use, and related safety requirements
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
