Terra Green is a full-service landscape company that is driven by its mission and core values. In order to better fulfill their mission, the company is in search for a highly motivated worker interested in being a member of the Landscape and Enhancement team. This position works as a member of a Landscape/Enhancement department and is responsible for leading a crew of fellow team members in providing quality landscapes and outdoor stone design.


The crew leader will lead projects that include the installation of irrigation and lighting systems for residential and commercial clients. Other tasks carried out by the incumbent will be to lead in the construction of hardscapes such as walkways, patios, retaining walls, mulch, grading and lawn installation, and drainage. Basic planting knowledge is needed. Applicant must be able to lift 50 pounds, be willing to work outdoors, have reliable transportation, and have a good work ethic. A minimum of one year experience is required. This is a full-time permanent position.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Lead 2-3-member landscaping install crews
  • Communicate well with manager and crew members
  • Oversee and Install various hardscapes projects (pavers, retaining walls, patios, etc.)
  • Oversee and Install irrigation and outdoor lighting systems
  • Oversee installation of mulch, pine-needle, sod, etc.
  • Perform grading projects
  • Ensure a clean and safe worksite for both employees and clients
  • Properly maintain assigned vehicle and equipment

  • 1+ years of experience (2+ landscaping preferred)
  • General landscape knowledge
  • Basic planting knowledge
  • Bilingual Preferred, but not required
  • Ability to oversee hardscape projects (masonry, pavers, retaining walls, patios, etc.) adequately and in a timely fashion
  • Ability to load and unload equipment on to trucks
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Enjoy work outdoors
  • Have good work ethic
  • Willing to submit to Drug Test, Background Check
  • Preferably a valid driver's license, but not required

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Landscaping Foreman: 1 year preferred
  • Landscaping: 1 year preferred
