Job description

Lead Generator (1099 Independent Contractor)

Flexible Opportunity for Self-Motivated ProfessionalsAbout the Opportunity

For over 13 years, Advocate Construction has been dedicated to integrity, craftsmanship, and protecting homeowners' greatest investment: their homes. Today, we are one of the largest residential roofing firms in the country.

We are expanding our network of independent Lead Generators seeking flexible income opportunities outside of traditional work hours. This opportunity may appeal to professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including educators, first responders, healthcare workers, students, and entrepreneurial individuals.

As an Independent Contractor, you operate independently and control when, where, and how often you perform lead generation activities. Contractors use Advocate's platform and marketing resources to identify homeowners who may be interested in a roof inspection or restoration consultation.

How the Opportunity Works

Independent contractors determine their own availability and level of participation.

Set Your Availability

You choose the days and timeframes you wish to work and may access available territories through our field application platform. You hit the neighborhood face-to-face.

Access Available Territories

Based on market conditions and storm activity, available neighborhoods and service areas may be identified within the platform for contractor use.

Generate Homeowner Interest

Contractors independently engage homeowners face-to-face at their door, distribute Advocate informational materials, and submit potential customer interest through the platform.

Inspection Referral

When a homeowner expresses interest in an exterior inspection, the contractor submits the referral through the platform. Advocate's sales representatives may then conduct any inspection, consultation, or restoration-related services directly with the homeowner.

Compensation

Maximize your business revenue with an uncapped piece-rate and commission structure. You are paid directly for the verified leads and completed inspections you generate. Current vendors invoice an average of $1,000–$2,500+ weekly.

Activity Compensation

Contractors receive compensation for completed field marketing activity that is properly documented within the platform.

Lead Bonuses

Additional compensation may be available for qualified inspection opportunities generated by the contractor.

Earnings will vary based on contractor participation, effort, market conditions, and results.

Ideal Background

No prior roofing or construction experience is required. We value professionalism, communication skills, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic.

This opportunity may be a good fit for:

  • Educators seeking supplemental income opportunities
  • First responders, nurses, and shift-based professionals
  • Students and early-career professionals
  • Outgoing individuals comfortable speaking with homeowners face-to-face
  • Entrepreneurial-minded individuals seeking flexible earning opportunities
Contractor Requirements
  • Professional and courteous communication skills
  • Smartphone capable of running the field application platform
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to walk residential neighborhoods
  • Ability to independently manage time and activities
Independent Contractor Notice

This opportunity is offered on a 1099 independent contractor basis only and is not an employment position. Contractors are responsible for determining their own schedules, methods of work, transportation, expenses, and tax obligations. Nothing in this posting should be construed as creating an employer-employee relationship.
