Lawley is in search of a Wellness Consultant for our corporate wellness benefits team in Buffalo, NY! This position would be responsible for consulting with corporate clients to assess, identify and coordinate customized wellness & health programs. The ideal candidate would have at least three years of experience in delivering on-site wellness and health management programs and a degree in a health-related field. These are the fundamental components of the job:
  • Consult with corporate clients to assess, identify and coordinate customized wellness & health programs.
  • Collaborate with sales and service team members, vendors and community providers to service client needs.
  • Provides health promotion consultation to clients and prospects in conjunction with the sales and service team and insurance providers.
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver high-quality wellness & health management programs which effectively target and address the health and lifestyle risks of client populations.
  • Assess clients’ employee health challenges; assist in the design of a wellness program customized to their workforce, goals and budget utilizing claims data, survey results and other appropriate data.
  • Researches industry standard, trends and best practices to provide creative solutions for health and wellness programs.
  • Maintain tracking of wellness initiatives; including client utilization, outcomes, satisfaction and complete and accurate documentation of all tasks in computer system.


Other functions of the job:
  • Support on-site wellness programming for Lawley.
  • Expand and grow in your role when supporting miscellaneous duties as requested.


Skills / traits that we value for this role:
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience delivering on-site wellness & health management programs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Wellness or health related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of wellness program development, implementation and evaluation.
  • Extensive computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team.
  • Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued.
  • Capability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Methodical, yet swift decision-making skills especially in regard to prioritization.
  • Participates in projects on an as-needed basis.
  • Precise communication skills, even under time constraints.

The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including but not limited to: years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $51,498.15 to $85,830.25.
