This role is for an upcoming proposal.


The Program Manager shall be responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract. Serves as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officerโ€™s Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractorโ€™s senior management. Directly contributes to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities. Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract. The PM shall utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.


Education/Experience:

Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. Degree must be in a Business Field (for example, Program Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, and Economics) or a Technical Field (for example, Engineering, Systems Management, Computer Science, and Information Technology).Relevant experience must be in business (for example, financial trend and forecast, contract management) or program management (for example, project management, trend and forecast analysis, earned value management, cost benefit analysis, balanced scorecard, activity based costing, life cycle cost estimating, activity based budgeting, gap analysis). Additionally, informal supervisory experience is required.
