Job Overview
Hubbell's Systems Control location in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking a Field Services Project Manager to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of Electrical Enclosure field service activities.
In this role, you will serve as the central point of coordination between Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Logistics, Project Management, and Field Service teams to ensure projects are field-ready and positioned for successful customer site installation. You will gather, organize, and communicate critical project information, develop field service action plans, identify risks, and drive solutions that reduce delays and improve efficiency.

A Day In The Life
  • Manage the Field Service Requests inbox for new project requests and enter approved requests into the Field Service Scheduling and Loading tool to initiate planning and resource coordination.
  • Review Field Support project intake requests and collaborate with requestors and stakeholders to ensure supporting information is defined and documented.
  • Lead Electrical Enclosure field support readiness kickoff meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to identify risks, resolve outstanding items, and ensure project readiness prior to shipment and field installation.
  • Coordinate field service execution by aligning schedules with the Field Service Scheduling Supervisor, developing actionable Field Service plans, and maintaining proactive communication with requestors and stakeholders throughout project completion.
  • Address any field implementation issues by coordinating corrective actions, revising Field Service Action Plans, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Track project progress and key performance metrics, using insights to improve field service execution, resource planning, and operational performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance field execution and reduce installation delays, reducing unnecessary return trips.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional activities, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating projects or operations within field service, manufacturing, construction, logistics, electrical installation, or customer service environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt, course-correct, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional activities, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP), SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and other business applications preferred.
