Job description

Support primary care teams remotely by completing indirect patient care tasks. Remote inbox physicians collaborate with on-site providers and staff to co-manage the medical needs of patients.
Requirements:
  • Board-certified MD or DO
  • DEA
  • NH License
  • 3-5 years' clinical experience in primary care

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to patient calls and portal messages requiring provider input.
  2. Review and refill medication refill requests.
  3. Coordinate patient care with triage and care coordination nurses.
  4. Communicate lab and diagnostic test results to patients.
  5. Complete peer-to-peer review with insurance company for authorization of testing or treatment when needed.
  6. Attend regularly-scheduled virtual meetings with on-site providers.
  7. Other duties as assigned.
