Penske is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.  Provides support to full and part time team members in warehouse functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors and Team Leads to ensure facility customer service and productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to keep the team moving forward toward an appreciative and positive work environment.
 
Hours:  
 
Sunday - Wednesday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
 
Pay:
 
$20.87 hourly + $1.00 shift differential
 
$1500.00 Retention Bonus after 120 days

Major Responsibilities:

  • Processing Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouse
  • Control the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times 
  • Resolve discrepancies with inventory as well as Inbound/Outbound shipments
  • Interact with warehouse associates and trouble shoot issues
  • Assist with daily and weekly reports
  • Jointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics
  • Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements 
  • Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:
2 years of general office experience required
1 year of customer service experience required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
AS400 experience preferred
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
