Position Summary
This is a critical role ensuring accuracy fulfilling of orders in our warehouse and ensuring they meet our high-quality standards as well as strict deadlines for courier collection, which enables us to meet our customer expectations.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Accurate and efficient picking and packing of orders to meet courier collection deadlines
  • Maintain accurate stock control systems - monitor and manage stock of products and packaging materials to ensure orders can be fulfilled on time
  • Pack goods with protective materials and label packaged goods ready for dispatch
  • Ensure stock of packaging and product is adequately stored for ease of use and restocking
  • Receive and check deliveries and correctly store and rotate materials
  • Enter data of jobs into SAP
  • Ensure customer requests are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Book deliveries with couriers such as FedEx and DHL
  • Ensure daily checklists and tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Liaise with the other teams to monitor all incoming orders and plan daily order fulfilment
  • Contribute to improvements in warehouse processes to increase efficiencies, reduce wastage, and improve quality
  • Ensure all equipment is operated correctly
  • Ensure that all relevant information is recorded accurately
  • Adhere to all health, safety and security policies and procedures
  • Take all necessary steps to improve safety standards and encourage other employees to be aware of and use good safe working practices
  • Always represent the company by behaving in a professional and responsible manner
  • Maintain and improve our reputation with customers, fellow employees, and the community within which we operate.
  • Always maintain a good standard of housekeeping and hygiene within the department

Experience Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with using IT programs, such as Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Experience with stock control systems
  • Previous experience working in a chemical warehouse environment would be beneficial
  • A forklift truck license would be an advantage but not essential
  • English C1 (oral and written)
  • Labtech experience
  • Ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and carefully
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic Outlook and SAP skills
  • Good communication skills to effectively liaise with customers & colleagues
  • Team player with a flexible and proactive approach; willing to fulfil any additional duties and requirements that may be necessary from time to time to meet company objectives
  • Attention to detail with a good level of reading & writing skills
  • Able to work without constant supervision and direction
  • Self-motivated & self-disciplined
  • Reasonable level of fitness to undertake manual handling - items are not necessarily very heavy but there is repetitive lifting and carrying work involved
