Company Description: Flecha Cantina is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Special Events Manager to own and grow our private events program across all locations. This is a high-visibility, revenue-generating role built for someone who loves the energy of hospitality, thrives on relationship-building, and knows how to close. You'll be the point person for everything from first inquiry to flawless execution - working closely with ownership, location managers, and clients to make every event unforgettable.
Job Description: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a key leader at Flecha cantina, responsible for supporting the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing daily business operations, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for both staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Sales & Business Development

Prospect and actively solicit new private event business through outreach, referrals, and community networking
Respond to all event inquiries promptly, qualify leads, and guide prospects through the booking process
Develop customized event proposals, contracts, and pricing packages that align with client needs and Flecha's revenue goals
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of corporate clients, social hosts, and event planners
Meet or exceed monthly and annual event revenue targets
Event Planning & Execution
Manage the full event lifecycle from initial inquiry through day-of execution and post-event follow-up
Coordinate all event logistics including staffing, menus, floor layouts, AV, and vendor management
Partner with location managers to ensure seamless communication and flawless event delivery
Be present at events as needed to oversee execution and represent the Flecha brand with professionalism
Gather post-event feedback and implement improvements to continually elevate the client experience
Reporting & Multi-Location Coordination
  • Track event pipeline, bookings, and revenue performance across all Flecha Cantina locations
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and event management tools
  • Report regularly to ownership on KPIs, forecasts, and opportunities
  • Coordinate cross-location events and programming, including new location openings and grand events
  • Identify and surface opportunities for revenue growth through partnerships, activations, and new event

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in event sales, private dining, or hospitality event management
  • Proven track record of closing event and sales contracts and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; polished and persuasive with clients
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and event management tools
  • Availability for evenings and weekends as events require
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and thrives with minimal supervision
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required
