About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner with 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning or demand planning to join our team. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in developing accurate demand forecasts (18 months rolling horizon), driving our inventory management strategies, and ensuring product availability across our network. Youโ€™ll collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance to optimize our supply chain and support our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting: Develop and maintain sku demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation, incorporating business intelligence, historical data, and input from sales and marketing.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales trends, seasonal demand variations, and promotional impacts to refine forecasts and inventory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align demand and supply plans with business goals.
  • Reporting: Generate demand planning reports, performance metrics, and recommend improvements to forecast accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within demand planning to enhance forecast accuracy, response time, and planning efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or a similar supply chain role. (CPG or automotive background)
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (APICS certification is a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills; experience with statistical analysis tools is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
