Job description

MENU, part of the GGG ecosystem, is seeking a results-driven National Sales Manager – U.S. Market to lead sales growth and market expansion across the United States. This role serves as the primary commercial liaison between MENU and GGG, ensuring strong alignment on strategy, execution, and long-term growth objectives.

The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, analytical, and hands-on, with experience managing distributor networks, driving sales performance, and building strong customer relationships in the foodservice industry.

The National Sales Manager – US Market role involves working closely with our sole U.S. importer to coordinate sales efforts and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Importer Relationship & Strategy
    • Maintain daily contact with key importer personnel (BDMs).
    • Conduct regular visits to their headquarters in New Jersey.
    • Collaborate with BDMs to define commercial strategies and implement tactical initiatives aligned with both parties’ objectives.
  2. Follow-Up & Coordination
    • Conduct consistent, methodical follow-up with the importer’s team (BDMs, marketing, and sales).
  3. Distributor Food Shows
    • Plan and participate in 1–2 distributor food shows per month, covering approximately 100 customer locations nationwide.
    • Follow-up on leads gathered with support from importer sales reps.
  4. Sales Training & Accompaniment
    • Provide training and ride-along support to distributor and broker sales teams.
  5. Sales Analysis & Trend Identification
    • Thoroughly analyze periodic sales reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Execute new plans based on analysis.
  6. Market & Customer Development
    • Conduct market analysis to identify potential new customers in coordination with importer’s sales team.
    • Begin building direct relationships—with importer support—to streamline communication.

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel - up to 50% of time throughout the U.S.
  • Travel scheduling is irregular: many events fall on Fridays or Mondays, so weekend departures or returns may happen.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually, plus bonus

Our Benefits:
