Position Summary
District Photo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement & Logistics Intern to support our Procurement team during the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in purchasing, supplier management, logistics coordination, data analysis, and supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The intern will work closely with procurement and logistics professionals to support day-to-day operations while gaining valuable exposure to sourcing, inventory management, transportation, vendor relations, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements
Responsibilities
  • Assist with purchase order creation, entry, and tracking for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materials and supplies.
  • Support supplier communications, follow-up activities, and order expediting.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors.
  • Track delivery schedules and assist with logistics issue resolution.
  • Maintain procurement and supplier data within District Photo's ERP system (Business Central).
  • Assist with spend analysis, pricing reviews, freight reporting, KPI tracking, and cost-savings initiatives.
  • Support documentation requirements related to imports, tariffs, shipping compliance, and vendor records.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and procurement-related documentation.
  • Assist with inventory and supply chain projects as assigned.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Procurement & Logistics team.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous internship, coursework, or project experience related to supply chain or procurement.
  • Experience working with ERP systems or data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, purchasing processes, or logistics operations.
