Job description

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager / Estimator for our Mechanical Contracting division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in overseeing projects from conception to completion, with a focus on new construction, design-build, and plan-spec initiatives within the mechanical contracting industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:

    • Lead and manage mechanical contracting projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors to coordinate project activities effectively.
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, proposing and implementing solutions to ensure successful project completion.
  2. Estimation:

    • Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for mechanical contracting projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
    • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop competitive and value-driven bid proposals.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications and requirements to provide precise and detailed estimates.
  3. New Construction:

    • Oversee mechanical contracting projects in the new construction sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
  4. Design-Build:
