Job description

Position Summary
The Software Implementation Project Manager leads complex software implementation projects for healthcare Customers, ensuring successful delivery from planning through go-live. This role serves as the primary Customer contact, drives cross-functional collaboration, manages project risks, and ensures projects are completed on time and aligned with Customer expectations.
What You'll do as a Software Implementation Project Manager
  • Lead end-to-end software implementation projects.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to defined scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, call notes, and trip reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Customers and stakeholders.
  • Gather Customer requirements and translate them into actionable project tasks.
  • Coordinate activities across implementation, data, software services, and client success teams.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Oversee testing, training, go-live, and transition to support.
  • Drive Customer satisfaction through proactive communication and execution.
  • Contribute to process improvements and project management best practices.
  • Mentor team members and support departmental initiatives.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of customer-facing project management experience, preferably in software implementation or technology services.
  • Knowledge of software implementation
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of information technology terminology and troubleshooting
  • Experience with industry-standard software-based project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel between 25-40% annually within the U.S. and Canada.

Preferred:
  • 1-3 years of healthcare industry experience.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience in healthcare technology or SaaS implementations.

Pay range for this opportunity is $92,650.00 - $119,900.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
