Department OverviewThe Implementation Team is responsible for the physical and digital deployment, configuration, and testing of hardware, software, and cloud-based systems. Working directly from engineering designs and operational blueprints, to ensure that new technology solutions are installed accurately, securely, and with minimal disruption to the client or internal business workflows. This role requires technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to execute precise deployment checklists.
Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and provision software applications, cloud environments, network equipment, or user endpoints based on technical documentation.

  • Execute standardized deployment scripts, configure user profiles, establish access controls, and map data paths as required by the system design.

  • Ensure all implementations strictly adhere to company security baselines and compliance standards.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Manage technical upkeep, provide day-to-day support of new and existing customer sites via support tickets and audits

  • Troubleshoot, prioritize, research, and document technical issues thoroughly and accurately within tickets. If unable to resolve an issue, escalate to management team.

  • Assist in refining implementation/technician processes with the goal of efficiency and accuracy

  • Travel required up to 20% (locally to customer sites)

  • Occasional weekend/evening work required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact during the "go-live" window to troubleshoot immediate deployment failures or performance bottlenecks.

  • Escalate complex architectural or infrastructure flaws to senior engineering teams with detailed diagnostic data.

  • Provide hyper-care support to end-users or client administrators immediately following deployment to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Maintain precise records of system configurations, IP allocations, software licenses, and hardware assets deployed.

  • Update implementation playbooks, checklists, and runbooks based on field insights to streamline future deployments.

  • The ability to multitask effectively and excel in a fast pace environment.

Target Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

  • 3 years of experience working in an IT, or Technology environment required.
