Job description

Job Title: Implementation Project Manager (Infrastructure Focus Available)

Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6+months
 

 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to lead technology implementation, application deployment, and infrastructure projects. This role requires a hands-on Project Manager with strong technical delivery experience who can manage project execution while also supporting business analysis, documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication.

One of the three openings will have a stronger focus on IT Infrastructure projects.

 Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end IT implementation and technology deployment projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate application deployments, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, status reports, and project plans.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Track project milestones and ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support PMO processes and ensure adherence to PMP/PMI project management standards.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and updates to leadership.
 Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • PMP Certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT implementation or technology delivery projects.
  • Strong understanding of PMP/PMI methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Experience leading application deployment and implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience creating project documentation, process flows, and test cases.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing project risks, budgets, schedules, and resources.
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Infrastructure project management experience (for one of the openings).
  • Consulting background with firms such as Deloitte, PwC, EY, IBM, Accenture, or similar.
  • Experience helping build or scale a PMO organization.
  • Cruise, travel, hospitality, or transportation industry experience.
  • Strong technical background with infrastructure or enterprise application deployments.
  • Demonstrated career progression with stable employment history.
