Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite from Day 1)
Job Type: W2 Contract
 
About the Role:
  • We are seeking a Labguru Analyst (Contractor) to support the implementation of our Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) on the Labguru platform.
  • This is a hands-on configuration and delivery role — you will work directly with internal stakeholders to design, build, test, and deploy ELN templates and workflows that meet our scientific and regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate has direct experience configuring Labguru or a comparable ELN/LIMS platform, understands laboratory processes in a life science or pharma context, and can manage iterative delivery cycles from requirements gathering through go-live.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring Labguru — including template and workflow development
• Background in life sciences, biotech, pharma, or a related laboratory environment
• Experience participating in ELN or LIMS implementation projects from requirements through deployment
• Ability to translate scientific and operational requirements into platform configurations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and engage cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience with system testing, UAT support, and defect resolution
• Proven ability to produce clear configuration documentation and user-facing materials
 
Preferred:
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, or other relevant regulatory frameworks

• Prior work in a contractor or consulting delivery model
• Knowledge of data integrity principles in a regulated lab environment
 
Scope of Work:
 
1. ELN Configuration & Template Development
• Design and build ELN templates within Labguru tailored to laboratory workflows and use cases
• Configure workflows within the platform to support laboratory processes end-to-end
• Ensure all configurations align with business requirements and applicable regulatory considerations
• Support iterative design, testing, and refinement cycles throughout the implementation lifecycle
 
2. Requirement Translation
• Collaborate with internal scientific and operational stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into Labguru configurations
• Participate in workshops, design sessions, and working groups to ensure alignment on platform setup
• Bridge the gap between scientific needs and technical ELN capabilities, offering best-practice guidance
 
3. Testing & Validation Support
• Assist in planning and executing system testing including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Document test cases, track defects, and implement updates or fixes as issues are identified
• Support validation activities to meet regulatory and quality requirements where applicable
 
4. Documentation
• Develop and maintain comprehensive configuration documentation throughout the implementation
• Support the creation of user guides, SOPs, and training materials for end users and administrators
• Ensure documentation is kept current through iterative changes and post-deployment updates
 
5. Deployment Support
• Assist with go-live preparation including final configuration checks, data migration support, and readiness reviews
• Provide post-deployment stabilization support to address issues and ensure smooth adoption
• Serve as a point of contact during the hypercare period following launch
