What is the opportunity?

The Client Implementation Lead, Trade role is your opportunity to become a critical member of the Client Onboarding team, where you'll drive exceptional client experiences for highly sophisticated businesses.Your primary focus will be leading commercial and corporate clients through the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring seamless delivery of tailored solutions for Structured trade products.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in a team environment with a collaborative focus on delivering an exceptional client experience. Previous work experience in the financial services industry with a focus on trade finance and working in a dynamic environment are important for success in this role.

What will you do?

  • Lead multiple onboarding cases at a time, ensuring client's onboarding and implementation plans progress in accordance with established expectations.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the structured trade product suite with an understanding of how each product can enable large and complex businesses to meet their specific needs.

  • Work closely with Client Implementation and Sales team to analyze client's product requirements to understand their unique needs to develop and execute onboarding process for clients.

  • Effectively engage partners for critical activities in support of the onboarding process.

  • Work in collaboration with a broader Implementation and Sales Team in Transaction Banking to identify, plan & deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for clients.

  • Work to adhere or be ahead of Service level agreements for Onboarding

  • Participate in adhoc projects related to Client onboarding and Implementation

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated excellence in a financial services role that involved understanding of Commercial or Corporate client structures, preferably with a focus on trade finance

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills with ability to work under pressure

  • Proven track record of delivering an exceptional client experience

  • Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web-based meetings,social media, digital banking, and mobile applications)

Nice to have:

  • Post-secondary education (or equivalent work experience) in business administration, finance or a related field

  • Experience with structured trade products
