Job description

Job Summary:
Chenega Security SBU is seeking a Project Manager who will serve as the Contractor’s principal point of contact and ensure the overall management and execution of contract requirements. The role involves providing leadership, overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain project objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Contractor’s primary point of contact and authorized interface with the CO and/or COR.
• Provide overall leadership and direction for all project management task performance.
• Formulate, implement and enforce work standards and operational procedures.
• Assign work schedules and oversee daily operations to ensure contract requirements are met.
• Supervise personnel and ensure appropriate staffing, performance and accountability.
• Review work discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to research, develop and maintain compliant procedures.
• Prepare, review and submit all required reports and documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
• Communicate organizational policies, objectives and goals to personnel.
• Establish and administer quality assurance programs to ensure attainment of all project performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable DOE, federal and contract-specific requirements.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of five (5) years of protective force experience, preferably with DOE or similar entity.
• Demonstrated experience in management, supervision and implementation of security contracts.
• Proven ability to manage personnel, schedules and performance in a regulated or secure environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Secret security clearance granted by the Defense Security Service pursuant to the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and the NISP Operating Manual (NISPOM) prior to starting work.
Preferred:
• Experience serving as primary interface with Government contracting officials.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
• Ability to use a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
