About Your Role:

As an implementation manager, you will lead the onboarding experience for independent software vendor (isv) partners across supported payment platforms. You will work closely with sales, solutioning, integration delivery, and relationship management teams to guide partners from initial integration planning through activation. Your work helps accelerate partner readiness, reduce onboarding friction, and support merchant growth on fiserv payment platforms.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead project planning for partner implementations by defining milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and required resources for each onboarding engagement
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among sales, solutioning, integration delivery, and relationship management teams to align on integration approach, status, and next steps
  • Guide software partners through the onboarding lifecycle by communicating requirements, tracking progress against implementation goals, and supporting readiness to board live merchants
  • Serve as the primary partner contact in early stages, guiding onboarding and ensuring a smooth handoff to long-term account management
  • Monitor integration progress and identify technical, operational, or process-related obstacles, then work with internal teams and partners to resolve issues and realign plans when needed
  • Maintain detailed reporting and project documentation in salesforce, including status updates, meeting notes, risk indicators, and timeline impacts
  • Track partner activation outcomes against defined onboarding targets, including boarding 5 merchants or achieving $100k in monthly processing volume within the first 6 months of the relationship
  • Apply critical thinking to evaluate technical workflows and operational processes, and recommend actions based on downstream business and implementation impacts.

Experience You'll Need To Have:
  • 6+ years of experience in implementation, partner onboarding, project management, or client-facing delivery within payments, financial technology, software integrations, or a related industry
  • 6+ years of experience coordinating cross-functional projects using project plans, timelines, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication across multiple teams
  • 6+ years of experience maintaining implementation reporting and pipeline records in salesforce or a similar customer relationship management platform
  • Experience supporting software or payment platform integrations by documenting requirements, tracking technical milestones, and coordinating issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing onboarding progress using measurable activation goals, status reporting, and risk indicators to support delivery outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, information systems, finance, technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
Experience That Would Be Great To Have:
  • Experience working with independent software vendor (isv) partners
  • Experience in merchant acquiring, payment processing, or payment gateway integrations
  • Experience supporting partner activation, merchant boarding, or revenue ramp objectives
  • Familiarity with sales-to-implementation handoff processes in a business-to-business software or payments environment

Salary Range

$78,000.00 - $138,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in new jersey and new york. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
